Renew Your SST Card

Your SST card expires after 5 years. You can keep your SST card up to date and extend your expiration date by taking renewal classes.

It is important to take refresher classes before your SST card expires. You can take your refresher classes in the year before your SST card expires.

For SST card renewals, place your order 5–7 days before your card expires. If you order too late, your card may lapse, and you will have to take additional training.

Step 1. Take Renewal Classes

To renew worker SST card (40HR): Must take 8 hours of renewal classes within 12 months prior to SST card expiration date. 4HR Fall Prevention AND Either 4HR SST Renewal Bundle OR 4HR Scaffold User

To renew supervisor SST card (62HR): Must take 16 hours of renewal classes within 12 months prior to SST card expiration date. Choose one option below.
