Thomas Edison
Thomas Edison State College is focused on meeting the needs of the self-directed adult learner. Students come to the College with a wealth of experience from academic work at other institutions, from the workplace, and from military service. Thomas Edison State College is committed to education as a transformative process that broadens perspectives in a global, technologically sophisticated and diverse society.
The Training Center has an arrangement for our apprentices, graduates, and members to earn credits toward an Associate of Science in Applied Science and Technology or Bachelors of Science in Applied Science and Technology. Apprentices may enroll at any time during their apprenticeship or any time after graduation. College credits are available for:
- Carpenters who began apprenticeship in the Fall of 2002 or later
- Millwrights who began apprenticeship in the Fall of 2003 or later
- Cabinetmakers who began apprenticeship in the Fall of 2004 or later
- Floor Coverers who began apprenticeship in the Fall of 2005 or later.

Apprenticeship completion = 21 Credits granted
Additional credits required = 39 Credits
Thomas Edison Graduation Requirement = 60 Credits Total

Bachelors of Science in Applied Science and Technology:
Apprenticeship completion = 33 Credits granted
Additional credits required = 87 Credits
